Software & system test engineer

We are looking for a Software and System-test Engineer to maintain and improve the automated and manual tests for malware storage and analysis tools where users can search and download malware samples from a Hadoop based database and can analyze malware samples in a completely safe sandbox environment and run integrated semi-automated analysis tools. See: Kaibou product.

Responsibilities

  • Software testing of Malware analysis products

  • Development of our testing strategies

  • Planning and coordination of test procedures

  • Analysis of requirements and definition of test cases

  • Test execution and evaluation

  • Documentation and distribution of the test results

  • Optimization of the test process by test automation

  • Close collaboration with the development team

  • Proposal for the possible development of the processes

    • Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in software testing

  • Completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable qualification

  • Scripting (e.g., Shell, Python) and programming language (e.g., Java, Go) knowledge

  • Understanding of networking standard protocols and components

  • Knowledge of virtualization or containerization tools, or Hadoop

  • Knowledge of infrastructure managing frameworks (e.g., GitLab CI/CD)

  • High flexibility, analytical, strong communication skills, team player

  • Fluent in English and Hungarian (both written and spoken)

  • Nice to have: ISTQB certification

  • Nice to have: Experience in performance and security testing

  • Nice to have: Experience in Agile software development process
